Owner Chris Reeder is a second-generation BBQ man, happy to be back in his hometown helping to boost Uptown Greenwood by bringing customers to taste BBQ smoked daily with aged hickory.

The Blueway, a 34-mile trail for paddling, has brought kayakers, canoers and other water lovers to Lake Greenwood. Kiosks and signage on the Blueway increase paddlers’ knowledge of their environment, and paddlers can do short or long routes.

Walk in Beauty at The Arts Center

As one of the three anchors of Uptown Greenwood’s cultural district, the beautifully renovated Arts Center has 25,000 square feet of bright, airy space. In addition to its permanent collection, the center showcases regional and touring exhibits. On tap for summer and fall 2020 are the work of 51 local artists and Lego reconstructions of 16 iconic New York buildings. In addition to the gallery space, the center includes a clay studio, classrooms, seven artist studios and a beautiful courtyard garden. The Arts Center is within walking distance of other cultural sites and shops of Uptown.
