Her academic journey took her to Anderson University, where she initially pursued interior design before switching to business. Despite this shift, her passion for art and non-profit work never waned.

In addition to her work at Paint and Pour, Sarah Jane runs a successful watercolor business and extends her teaching to various other settings. She holds art classes at Ashley Square, a retirement center, bringing the joy of creativity to its residents. Recently, she organized a unique event that combined a group painting activity with food and drink from Mill House, further showcasing her innovative approach to community engagement. From “paint your own pet” sessions to ceramics workshops, she ensures there’s something for everyone.
